[Ended] Want to Save 5% on Your DirecTV Bill?
Update 3/15/2020 - If you have the Chase Freedom credit card, you have two weeks left to save 5% on your cable/satellite/DirecTV bill. Yes, you could just pay your next bill if it comes due in the next 2 weeks, but, as I mentioned in the initial post, if you are comfortable doing so you could also pre-pay a number of months to effectively lock in the 5% savings on future months. Just something to consider as the end date of March 31, 2020, approaches.
For the next three months, it's easy to save 5% on your DirecTV bill. Simply use the Chase Freedom credit card to pay your DirecTV bill and you'll automatically earn 5% cash back on your payment.
This savings deal runs today, January 1, 2020, through March 31, 2020, so you should be able to get three monthly payments out of this deal.
Another alternative - although I don't fully recommend this - is to pay your DirecTV bill in advance. You'll earn the 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in payments this first quarter of 2020.
