Amazon has a targeted promo - which may, or may not be targeted - toward certain Amazon customers who use an American Express or Mastercard credit card to pay and input the promo's deal code.
This is the qualifying language associated with the promo..."Offer only applies to Amazon customers who have seen a banner ad promoting the Offer and clicked on the banner ad, or who have been invited by email or push notification from Amazon, and who then visited the Offer presentation page while logged in to their Amazon Account, during the Offer Period."
But, that's not always the case, so, if you have an Amex card or Mastercard loaded as a payment method on your Amazon account, why not give this $5 savings deal a try?
Just add $20 or more worth of qualifying products (shipped and sold by Amazon) to your cart and enter the Promo Code: GETFIVENOW at checkout.
If it shows a $5 reduction, then it worked! If not, well, at least you tried.
