This Target gift card promotion is only for Target RedCard holders.  If you don't have a Target RedCard debit or credit card, this deal is not for you.

But, if you do have a Target RedCard, you can buy up to $500 worth of Target gift cards and receive a 10% discount on the purchase.

Which means, you're effectively saving 10% on the Target purchases you make with that gift card.

This deal is similar to the Target gift card deals we see around Black Friday every year.  Except those haven't required purchasers to be RedCard holders.

Here's a quick rundown of this promo's terms:

• Limit one offer per guest to purchase Target GiftCards online or in store. 
• Transaction can include multiple Target GiftCard items up to $500 ($50 maximum discount).
• GiftCards purchased online can be delivered via Mail, Email or Text.
• Offer excludes Visa Gift Cards, Mastercard Gift Cards, American Express Gift Cards and gift cards issued by other retailers such as dining, lifestyle and entertaining gift cards.

Target RedCard 10% Off Target Gift Card Deal

There doesn't seem to be a requirement to use your RedCard to actually pay...which is good since you won't get any additional discount when purchasing Target gift cards.

However, there are a few credit cards that are offering 5% back deals that can be stacked with this promotion.

The Chase Freedom and Freedom Flex cards are offering 5% back on purchases through PayPal, and you can use PayPal to checkout on Target.com.

And, Discover is offering 5% back on Target.com purchases this quarter.
