[Update August 2020] SoFi Money Sign-Up Bonus - $50 & $75

SoFi Money is currently offering two sign-up bonuses - $50 for new account sign-ups with no direct deposit, and/or $75 for new and existing accounts with an employer, or similar, direct deposit set up.

SoFi Money's current new account sign-up bonus is $50. No direct deposits are needed, only a $500 or more deposit within 14 days from account opening to receive the $50 bonus.

There's also a $75 bonus for new and existing (who have never set up direct deposit on the account) SoFi Money account members who set up direct deposit from an employer, payroll, or benefits provider via ACH deposit on their SoFi Money accounts and deposit $500 or more prior to 11/30/2020.  See our post "SoFi Money's Offering $75 for Setting Up Direct Deposits" for more information.

SoFi Money, an online money management account, has increased its sign-up bonus to $50.

And added a $75 bonus for setting up direct deposit to the account from an employer via ACH deposit.

If you're not familiar with SoFi Money, you can read the SoFi Money Account post in the High Yield Savings Accounts topic for details.

We mention how sign-up bonuses change, and these are two of those changes...for the positive.

To get the $50, you'll need to:

  • Use a referral link to sign-up
  • Deposit $500 or more within 14 days from account opening

The one-time cash bonus of $50 will be deposited into your SoFi Money account within two weeks of the $500 deposit being made.

Below is our referral link to the SoFi Money account and the $50 sign-up bonus.

Thank you in advance if you decide to use our link.

Once your new account is open, you're automatically enrolled for the $75 bonus once direct deposit requirements are met (see linked post above).

If you've been considering a SoFi Money account, and you're able to make the $500 deposit, this is an easy way to make $50.  And if direct deposits that meet SoFi's requirements are an option for you, that's another $75.
