The Shell Fuel Rewards program is offering a few ways to save on your gasoline purchases.

And these are over and above the regular savings you'll get by joining the Fuel Rewards program (free to join).

The first is a $0.25 per gallon discount for those willing to use the Shell Fuel Rewards app to pay for their gasoline purchases.

The second is Fuel Rewards' 10th Anniversary promo - Scratch & Win - that provides the opportunity each week to win Shell gift cards and fuel savings up to $1 per gallon.

Shell Fuel Rewards App

I get it, not everyone wants to jump on the app movement. Especially when it involves payments. I haven't tried the Shell Fuel Rewards app myself, but do remember when Shell and Chase ran promos for payments made via Chase Pay, and those left a bit to be desired.

Hopefully, Shell has learned from those past tries, and its own app is better at making payments for your gasoline purchases.

If you're up for trying, you can earn a one-time $0.25 per gallon discount after making your first Shell Fuel Rewards app fuel purchase of at least 5 gallons.

This promotion is good for Fuel Rewards members who've not yet used the app to make a payment.

Here're the terms associated with this promotion.

• App users who have an active Fuel Rewards^® account, enable mobile payment and make their first purchase of a minimum of five (5) gallons of fuel at a participating Shell station in the U.S.A. with the mobile payment function of the App between January 01, 2022, at 12:00 AM CT and December 31, 2022, at 11:59 PM CT will earn a one-time 25¢/gal off a future fuel transaction.
• The 25¢/gal savings will be applied in the App user’s Fuel Rewards^® account, and such reward may be combined with other rewards in the App user’s Fuel Rewards^® account.
• Redeem Fuel Rewards savings with Shell mobile payment, your Fuel Rewards card or Alt ID at participating Shell stations.
