Yes, it's a roundabout way to save, but for some it's worth the effort.
You can purchase up to a $500 Target gift card, saving a max of $25 on that full $500 gift card purchase.
If you have a Target RedCard, you're already getting a 5% savings when you pay with it, so for RedCard holders, this isn't a deal. And the two cannot be stacked.
However...
Discover credit card holders are currently earning 5% cash back on Target.com purchases, which would sweeten this deal a bit.
And, Chase Freedom card holders - if you use PayPal to check out at Target.com - can also save an additional 5%.
If you're willing to put forth some effort, there are savings to be had on Target purchases. But you have to add the Target Circle Offer to your account before making the purchase, and do it today only.
