Rakuten is offering increased cash back rates on your in-store purchases this weekend, August 5 - 7, 2022...and maybe longer since there's no "official" end date.

This is obviously targeted toward back-to-school shopping, but anyone can take advantage if you'll buying in-store over the coming days.

There are a number of retailers associated with these increased in-store cash back rates, a few of which include:

• Ulta Beauty
• Asics
• H&M
• Rite Aid
• Walmart
• Sam's Club
• Macy's

In-store cash back earning requires an extra step or two as compared to online shopping.

To earn the in-store cash back, you'll need to:

• Add a credit/debit card to your Rakuten account
• Link a specific offer to your credit/debit card
• Use that credit/debit card to pay in-store at the retailer whose offer you linked

Once an offer is used, you'll need to re-link that offer if you want to use it again for another purchase.

As with online cash back earning, it can take a day or two to show on your Rakuten account, and then payment will be made on Rakuten's regular quarterly payment schedule.
