In what could be considered a savings opportunity for back-to-school shopping (for those actually going, that is), Rakuten is giving 10% cash back at many retailers today, Monday, August 3, 2020, only.
This isn’t the best cash back rate Rakuten offers, but 10% is pretty good.
CASH BACK OR MEMBERSHIP REWARDS POINTS EARNING
In past articles, we wrote how you can not only earn cash back at Rakuten, but also American Express Membership Rewards points if you choose.
And you now don’t need two separate Rakuten accounts – you can switch between cash back and Membership Rewards points earning within one Rakuten account.
I also mentioned how Rakuten bonus promotions are a great time to build your Membership Rewards balance…as well as your cash back if that’s your choice.
10% CASH BACK OR POINTS
Ten percent cash back ranks up there as a good bonus promotion. Fifteen percent is Rakuten’s usual high offer, being seen a few times each year. And every so often we’ll see a higher offer to entice buying.
Earning 10 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent is a pretty good deal, though.
If you have some online shopping to do, I’d make today, Monday, August 3, 2020, the day and earn some major Membership Rewards points (or cash back) in the process.
