Newegg Offering 12-Month Microsoft 365 Subscriptions (Personal and Family Versions) Starting at $41.98

Newegg, the online electronics retailer, is currently offering 12-month Microsoft 365 subscription deals both for the Personal and Family versions, both of which include NordVPN Internet Privacy software for the same period of time.
These bundles include the regular Microsoft 365 software offerings – Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, as well as 1TB of cloud storage and the NordVPN software.
These software downloads are good for PC and Mac versions.
Here are the current plans and pricing:
- 12-month Microsoft 365 Personal (1 user/6 devices) for $41.98
- 12-month Microsoft 365 Family (6 users/6 devices) for 66.98
Newegg now requires digital items, subscription and bundle purchases to be made via a Newegg account (no guest checkout), which also includes seeing the deal pricing - at least for these software deals. Which means if you don't already have a Newegg account set up, you'll need to do so to purchase.
While not expressly stated, previous purchases of similar deals have added to existing Microsoft Office 365 subscriptions – as long as they’re subscribed to through Microsoft, that is.
If your current Microsoft 365 subscription was purchased via Amazon or Best Buy, it may not easily allow for adding to an existing subscription since those retailers take control of the subscription process.
Even if your subscription is through Microsoft, there is no guarantee your current subscription will extend an additional 12-months to what is left on your current subscription. In the past, a code is sent via email to use when setting up the Microsoft account. If you already have a Microsoft 365 account, the code – when entered – extended the current subscription by the time period associated with the deal – 12-months in this case. Again, no guarantees, but it has worked that way in the past.
This isn’t the absolute best deal we’ve seen on Microsoft 365 subscriptions, but it’s pretty close, and offers a nice savings on a Microsoft Office 365 subscription.
