Netflix announced today that it will be raising prices on two of its three streaming plans effective today. Nice notice, Netflix. I guess if you have a few days/weeks until your next month's billing date, then you have some notice, but still.
The price increases are:
Standard Plan (Watch on 2 screens, Full HD) - $13.99, up $1 from its previous price of $12.99
Premium Tier (Watch on 4 screens, Full HD and Ultra HD) - $17.99, up $2 from its previous price of $15.99
The Basic Plan (1 screen at a time, standard definition) remains at $8.99 per month.
Other than using a cash back credit card that bonuses spend on streaming services, I don't really have suggestions for reducing your Netflix bill. If you do, please comment below.
