Select Amazon accounts are being targeted with a $10 credit deal when an American Express Membership Rewards card is made your default payment method.

The promo's language states you must have received the advertisement for this deal to be eligible.  That's not always the case, so it's worth checking the deal link below for your Amazon account to see what happens.

Here are the steps for checking and taking advantage of this deal.

1. Click on the ad promoting this offer - link above.
2. On the 1-Click landing page, sign in to your Amazon.com account.
3. Change your 1-Click default payment method to an American Express Membership Rewards Card by the earlier of 11:59 p.m. PT on June 27, 2021 or while supplies last.
4. When prompted, ensure your American Express Card’s billing address is accurate by either confirming your billing address or adding a new billing address.
5. After steps 1-4 are completed, the $10 credit will be applied to your Amazon.com account.
6. To redeem the credit, make subsequent eligible purchase(s) with your eligible American Express Membership Rewards Card by 11:59 p.m. on July 27, 2021.

The credit must be redeemed by July 27, 2021, or it will be lost.

This isn't a huge credit, but if your account was targeted, why not take advantage?

Also, the $10 credit does have redemption limitations...primarily it can only be used on items shipped and sold by Amazon and that includes Amazon Digital Services LLC (video).
