[Update February 2021] Is CBS All Access Always Going to be Free? (Maybe)
Quote from Savings Beagle on February 21, 2020, 3:42 pmUpdate February 2021 - Try Code: FORYOU for a free month - should work for new, existing and previous CBS All Access subscribers.
9/15/2020 - ViacomCBS announced today CBS All Access will be rebranded as Paramount+ early in 2021. Additional programming will be added to the streaming platform to better compete with similar offerings such as HBO Max, Disney+, etc. No details on pricing were provided...we'll have to see if free monthly promo codes will continue.
Update: We haven't seen new 30-day free promo codes for May 2020, so getting CBS All Access free forever may no longer be an option. I would, however, give the following promo codes a try just to see if they still work. The promo codes are ENJOY, CATCHUP and ALL. New and returning subscribers have been able to use one of those codes during sign-up on the CBS All Access site to get another month free.Let us know by replying if this works for you or if you have other promo codes that do work.
Is CBS All Access, the streaming arm of CBS.com, always going to be free?
I ask completely in jest. Although, if you've followed our last few postings about CBS All Access promo codes, you might be wondering, too.
While CBS All Access provided promo codes for new subscribers that gave 30-day free trials, the promo codes also seemed to work for current and returning subscribers, as well.
And today, we posted another 30-day free trial deal that separated out promo codes - one for new subscribers, and one for returning subscribers.
So, based on the previous few months' CBS All Access free month deals, subscribers likely could have watched multiple month's worths for nothing.
I seriously doubt this will continue for too much longer. But, as long as promo codes are offered, we at Savings Beagle will publish them. Watch our postings if interested - the next one would be around March 20, 2020.
Just curious, are there any readers who were able to take advantage of multiple free months of CBS All Access with these promo code deals?
