Hulu with Live TV Merging with Fubo
A merger deal was officially announced this morning (Monday, January 6, 2025) between Disney's Hulu with Live TV and Fubo TV.
While the specifics are still to be announced, the combining of the two services - at least from a done-deal perspective - is complete.
There are plenty of questions for current subscribers of each live-TV streaming service and potential subscribers once the combination is finalized.
The main question being, how will the monthly price of the streaming service be affected?
Hulu with Live TV has maintained a competitive price point, while Fubo has been a bit higher, especially for those accessing all the sports offerings it provides.
Competition typically keeps a check on pricing (in an ideal world). With one fewer live TV streaming option, will that be a negative for consumers trying to save on their TV costs? We'll just have to wait and see.
