Discovery+ 1-Year Ad-Free Subscription for $50 with Promo Code WBANNUAL

Discovery+, the streaming platform for the various channels that are part of the Discovery family, is offering a 1-year subscription to its ad-free plan for $50.  The regular price for the ad-free plan is $6.99 per month/$83.88 for the year.

Depending on where you live, tax may be added to the subscription pricing.

To get this promo price, you'll need to use the Promo Code: WBANNUAL during the subscription/checkout process.  Or input the Code at the Redeem Code link below.

You can view the details associated with Discovery+ here and begin the subscription process at the link below.

DISCOVERY+ and HBO Max

It was announced a few days ago that as a result of an upcoming merger, likely in the next month or so, the streaming services Discovery+ and HBO Max will be combining into one service.

You can read about the upcoming merger and the combination of the streaming channels in this Variety story.

The details of exactly how the two streaming channels will be combined are still being worked out, so a subscription to Discovery+ likely won't include HBO Max anytime soon.

But, it might be the case within the next year, during which you'll still have access as a result of this promo deal.

More likely, a different platform and pricing structure will be set up to combine the two once the tech aspects and pricing details are finalized.

So I wouldn't count on this deal providing HBO Max access, too.

But, you will have access to all Discovery+ has to offer including HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Travel Channel, Discovery, to name a few, ad-free, for $50.

WRAP UP

The Discovery+ streaming platform is offering deal pricing on a twelve-month subscription to its ad-free plan.

For $50, you'll be able to watch all of Discovery+'s programming for the next 12 months.

And if something extraordinary happens, you may be able to access HBO Max with this deal, too, once the AT&T Warner Media and Discovery merger takes place in the coming month or so.  Although I wouldn't count on that access actually happening without some sort of add-on option with an increased price.
