DirecTV subscribers check your mailbox for the service's latest price increase announcement.

Current Base and All Included Packages will increase by the amounts listed below.
Family - No increase
Select - $4/month
Entertainment - $4/month
Choice - $5/month
Total Choice Mobile - $5/month
Preferred XTRA - $7/month
XTRA - $7/month
Ultimate - $7/month
Premier - $8/month
Retired/WorldDirect Packages will increase between $1 and $7 per month depending on the specific package.
And, the Regional Sports Fee will increase between $0 and $2 per month on packages depending on the market. Go to att.com/2020pricing to see the monthly amount for your region.
Rate increases will go into effect on January 19, 2020.
This is unfortunate, but not surprising. DirecTV seems to throw in these "cost of doing business" increases each year. The best - and really, only - way to get around these increases is to follow our tips for lowering your DirecTV bill.
