[Nice Updated Bonus] Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited $200 Sign-Up Bonus + 5% Back on Grocery Spend
Quote from Savings Beagle on April 23, 2020, 3:47 pmUpdate 7/23/20 - New Chase Freedom Flex and Freedom Unlimited applicants will "...earn 5% cash back on grocery store purchases (not including Target® or Walmart® purchases) on up to $12,000 spent in the first year." This is a great deal considering many of us are spending more on groceries due to Covid-19. Applicants will still receive the $200 sign-up bonus in addition to this grocery spend bonus.
Both the Chase Freedom Flex and Chase Freedom Unlimited credit cards are offering their highest sign-up bonus right now.
For either card, you'll earn $200 cash back (or 20,000 Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $500 within the first 3 months from card approval. There are some reports that additional time is given to cardmembers who request it as a result of the current economic situation.
Here is a quick overview of each card.
Chase Freedom Flex
No annual fee
Earns 5% cash back (Ultimate Rewards points) on rotating quarterly bonus categories, 5% back on travel purchased through the Chase Travel Portal, 3% back on dining and at drugstores and 1% on all other purchases
Current quarter's categories include Walmart.com and Paypal.
You can read more and apply at my referral link below. I'll receive a bonus for each approval and you'll receive the same sign-up bonus and benefits. Thanks if you use this link to apply.

Chase Freedom Unlimited

Chase Freedom Unlimited Credit Card Application Link
Both the Freedom and Freedom Unlimited come with DoorDash and Lyft benefits for a limited period of time. If either or both of those partner benefit are of interest, you can read more on the card's application landing page.
The $200 back on $500 of spend is a nice sign-up bonus for those looking to save cash on upcoming purchases. And the Freedom card can be an extra money-saver over the next few months, especially, considering its coronavirus-related bonus categories.
Typically, I'd be touting the Freedom cards' Ultimate Rewards points earning prowess for transferring to travel partners, but right now it's their cash back earning potential that makes them stand out.
Keep in mind, if you've received a sign-up bonus within the past 24 months for the card you're applying for, you will not receive the bonus again.
And, if you've been approved for 5 or more credit cards from any bank within the previous 24 months, Chase will likely not approve your application for these or any Chase credit cards.
