Are These Warnings of Where America's Economic and Governmental Systems are Headed?
Quote from Savings Beagle on February 11, 2021, 3:46 pmI first viewed the interview/lecture by Yuri Bezmenov about ten years ago when I was researching the differences between capitalism, socialism and communism.
I came across it again last year as the social climate in America began to heat up.
Yuri Bezmenov was raised in the communist Soviet Union, and after finishing studies at Moscow State University's Institute of Oriental Languages, worked in India as a translator and public relations officer for a Soviet economical aid group for two years. After that period, he began working as a "journalist" for the state-owned news agency RIA Novosti. His primary role was to edit and plant propaganda in foreign media. Later, he officially began working for the KGB as a "journalist" whose duties included gathering information and spreading disinformation to foreign countries for the purpose of propaganda and subversion. (bio info from Wikipedia)
While he wasn't officially a KGB agent, he worked closely with the organization, contributing to the goal of destabilizing various governments/countries around the world.
In 1970 he defected to Canada. And in the 1980s moved to Los Angeles and began lecturing on the "Soviet subversion model."
The videos below include his experiences and the model, discussed step-by-step, by which Soviet communists - and I would argue other communist regimes - have used throughout the years to destabilize and bring about the downfall of countries worldwide.
The tactics and results are eerily similar to what America has seen and experienced over the past decades, but most definitely the past 5-10 years.
In fact, last year when I was watching the longer lecture below, an individual in the room with me, who was only half paying attention, looked up and said, "when was this taped?" I responded, "The early to mid-'80s." "Huh," was the response, "I'd have thought it was last year." "Yep," was my response.
See what you think.
The first YouTube video is the longer version of Bezmenov's lecture with the step-by-step process of destabilization. This runs about an hour, but is worth it.
The second video is a much quicker overview of what's presented in the lecture, but in interview form, lasting about 6 minutes.
And the link below is to a recently published article on China's financial influence on all aspects of U.S. society. Many points are obvious, or at least easily researched for accuracy. The others might take a little more digging. But the overarching message is clear, communist China is taking significant steps to infiltrate and overtake America as the world leader. And many within the U.S. are helping it do just that.
Read the piece below after watching Bezmenov's lecture and compare to the current situation in America.
The Thirty Tyrants by Lee Smith
What is occurring now in the U.S. is most assuredly going to influence the economy and, possibly, the governmental structure, in the years to come.
How, exactly, is the question?
