Amazon's been offering some good deals on streaming channels recently...typically $0.99 for a month or two, sometimes longer. Which is usually a significant discount from the regular price. And a great way to catch up on shows or series you haven't seen yet.
The downside...you have to be a Prime member to take advantage of the $0.99 deal pricing.
Currently, you can subscribe to Showtime for $0.99 per month for two months. This deal ends September 19, 2021.
And recently we've seen...
- Discovery+ $0.99 per month for two months
- AMC+ $0.99 for one month
- Starz $0.99 per month for two months
For a one-time deal, you could sign-up for Amazon's 30-day free trial of Prime, which would allow you to subscribe to one of the deals (but only for one month).
Subscribing to Prime on a month-to-month basis ($12.99 + tax) is another option for taking advantage of these streaming channel deals, but only if you'll get value from the other Prime benefits, too.
If you are a Prime member who accumulates credits for choosing "no rush shipping" on eligible Amazon purchases, those credits/dollars can be used to pay for channel subscriptions, offsetting the monthly $0.99 charge associated with these deals. Now that's a really good price!
Not everyone uses Amazon, and thus checks our Amazon Savings Opportunities topic, so we wanted to post this informational piece in the Streaming TV topic for those who might be interested.
