Get 2 additional Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on eligible purchases made using your enrolled American Express credit card online at amazon.com or via the U.S. Amazon mobile app.
There’s a limit of 1,500 Membership Rewards points that can be earned via this Offer.
What’s nice, is that you earn “2 additional Membership Rewards points,” meaning, for most Amex MR earning cards, you should earn 3 Membership Rewards points per dollar for your Amazon purchases. Not too bad.
You’ll definitely want to read the Offer Terms to ensure your purchases won’t fall outside any of the restrictions. A quick glance, however, doesn’t appear to show anything really ridiculous regarding non-qualifying purchases.

The Offer will be triggered by payments made via online, mobile app or by phone directly with the U.S. wireless telephone provider. While they don’t list eligible providers, the big 4 will obviously work…anything outside of those providers depends on the merchant code.
Third-parties, authorized retailers or resellers and bundled home/cable services are excluded from this Offer.
Definitely give the Offer Terms a look if your provider falls into a grey area.

If Amazon is your go-to for shopping, then this Amex Offer is definitely worth taking advantage of through the end of September. That’s if you don’t utilize more lucrative ways to maximize your Amazon spend.
