Earn Some Easy Ultimate Rewards Points Just by Tapping Your Chase Card

Chase is out with a promotion for its Ultimate Rewards points earning credit cards that provides bonus Ultimate Rewards points when you use your contactless Chase credit card to pay.

Most Chase cards are now contactless, meaning you simply hold the credit card to the card reader terminal and your payment is processed. A beep/checkmark on the terminal screen indicates the payment is complete.

No more sliding, no more inserting, simply tap and pay.

You’ll know you have a contactless Chase card by the Contactless Symbol next to the card’s chip – see image above.

Terminals that are contactless-enabled will have the same Contactless Symbol.

The Chase Ultimate Rewards Promo

It’s not clear if this promotion is targeted to specific cardholders, or is available to all Chase Ultimate Rewards earning cardholders.

There do appear to be various Ultimate Rewards points bonuses – 500, 1,500, etc. – for participating. This does make it seem you have to have received the promotional email to be eligible.

But, it’s such an easy promo, you might want to give it a try even if you didn’t receive the email.

Here’re the promo’s details.

Between November 20, 2019, and December 31, 2019, pay 3 times with your contactless Chase Ultimate Rewards earning credit card, using the contactless “tapping” method to pay and earn the bonus Ultimate Rewards points.

Each transaction must be $1.75 or more.

If you have multiple Chase Ultimate Rewards earning credit cards – and you received the promo email – be sure to check to which credit card the email is pertaining. The language “For your account ending in: xxxx” will be toward the bottom of the email.

And, as mentioned before, if you didn’t get a promotional email, it might be worth using your Ultimate Rewards earning card(s) by tapping to pay just in case.
