Earn 5x Ultimate Rewards Points or 5% Cash Back on DoorDash and Tock Food Delivery Purchases

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic where most restaurants are limited to takeout only, here’s a nice promo from Chase which will earn 5x Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent or 5% cash back – depending on the card you hold – on your DoorDash and Tock food delivery purchases.

The Chase promotion provides the bonus points or cash back when you use your card to order from restaurants using DoorDash or Tock…obviously, restaurant availability is location specific.

The promo is good on up to $500 in combined purchases on DoorDash and Tock, and is valid until May 31, 2020.

Hopefully, by that date, things will start getting back to normal in the U.S. and we won’t be as dependent on delivery for our restaurant dining.

The DoorDash / Tock Promo Per Chase Card

Chase Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred

Earn 5x Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent total.

For the Reserve, that’s 2 additional points per dollar over the regular 3 points per dollar earned on dining.

And for the Preferred it’s 3 additional points per dollar over the regular 2 points per dollar earned on dining.

Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited

Earn 5% cash back total on DoorDash and Tock purchases.

For the Freedom, that’s an extra 4% cash back over the usual 1% typically earned on dining purchases.

And for the Freedom Unlimited, it’s an extra 3.5% cash back over the regular 1.5% cash back earned on all purchases.

Keep in mind, the Sapphire Reserve card has a complimentary DoorDash DashPass subscription which waives delivery fees and offers reduced service fees as well as providing $60 in DoorDash credits in 2020 and 20201.

The Sapphire Preferred also offers a complimentary DashPass subscription for one year, but no DoorDash credits.

And the Freedom and Freedom Unlimited offer complimentary 3-month DashPass subscriptions and half off the regular subscription fee for the remaining 9 months after subscription activation.
