DoorDash’s DashPass Members Can Save on Food Orders with These “Summer of DashPass” Promos

DoorDash is offering DashPass members various savings opportunities now through September 6, 2020, on DoorDash orders.

DashPass is a subscription service of DoorDash’s that provides free deliveries (no delivery fee) on orders from eligible restaurants. Service fees and minimum order amounts may/will still apply.

A DashPass subscription regularly costs $9.99 per month, but is free for certain periods of time for select Chase credit card holders – 12-months for Sapphire Preferred and Reserve cards and 3-months for Freedom and Slate cards.

Summer of DashPass

For the first “Summer of DashPass” promo, DoorDash DashPass members can save $15 off a food delivery order of $15 or more with this one-time savings deal July 27 through August 2, 2020.

For DashPass subscribers, the $15 promo savings will automatically be applied at checkout.

This $15 savings is for DoorDash DashPass delivery orders only.

Offer valid from 07/27/20 to 08/02/20 at 11:59pm PT at participating DashPass eligible restaurants.
Excluding taxes and fees.

Wrap Up

This initial DoorDash DashPass promo is pretty good. Saving $15 off $15 or more is hard to beat.

And its nice to see additional DoorDash DashPass promos being offered weekly through early September.

If you have one of the Chase credit cards on which a free DashPass benefit is offered, this is a fantastic savings opportunity on your DoorDash orders.

I’m not sure the value proposition is there if you are thinking of paying the $9.99 per month DashPass fee, though. Although, maybe, if DashPass is something you use regularly.

And, for Sapphire Reserve cardholders, if you haven’t used all your Chase Sapphire Reserve DoorDash credits yet, don’t forget that benefit, too.
