DoorDash “Summer of DashPass” Week Five Promo: $15 Off a Convenience Store Order

Update 8/29 – There are reports that the Convenience Store $15 off promo is working multiple times for some DashPass customers. If you’ve tried it once already, and there are products you might still want to buy, give it another try before it ends tonight (8/30/20).

DoorDash is offering DashPass members various savings opportunities now through September 6, 2020, on DoorDash orders.

DashPass is a subscription service of DoorDash’s that provides free deliveries (no delivery fee) on orders from eligible restaurants. Service fees and minimum order amounts may/will still apply.

A DashPass subscription regularly costs $9.99 per month, but is free for certain periods of time for select Chase credit card holders – 12-months for Sapphire Preferred and Reserve cards and 3-months for Freedom and Slate cards.

WEEK 5 PROMO – 8/24-8/30

Week 5’s “Summer of DashPass” promo provides $15 off your convenience store order.

This is a somewhat unique savings deal in that only certain customers will have this available to them.

And if you’re not familiar with DoorDash’s Convenience category, it’s just that, delivery from convenience stores such as 7-11, WaWa, Circle K, etc.

You’ll need to check the banner, or top of the DoorDash app, for the Convenience category...then select it to see what options are available to you.

To receive the $15 off deal, guests must use Promo Code: ESSENTIALS20 at checkout on the DoorDash site/app. 

The $15 off promo is good beginning Monday, August 24 through Sunday, August 30, 2020.

Although, supplies of these promos do run out, so utilizing earlier is better.

If you have the Convenience category available to you, I guess it’s an easy way to grab $15 worth of items essentially free.

Not sure I’d go with the rolling hot dog, but maybe some chips, drinks, toilet paper, things like that to hit that $15 freebie mark.
