Discover Releases 2nd Quarter Cashback Bonus Categories
Discover released Restaurants & Movies as its 2nd quarter Cashback Bonus categories.
Discover It and Discover More cardmembers will receive 5% Cashback on up to $1,500 in purchases at the designated categories. The bonus can be activated after March 1, 2016, and will be good on purchases made April 1, 2016 through June 30, 2016.
The Movies category includes; merchants categorized as movie theaters, video rental stores (if you can find those any more) and online movie ticket services.
The Restaurants category is self explanatory, and if you eat out a lot, it’s a great way to earn significant cash back.
If you spend the maximum amount during the quarter, you’ll earn a total of $75 cash back.
Current Discover Bonus categories include Gas & Ground Transportation and run through March 31, 2016. If you haven’t activated your bonus categories yet, do so now and head for your closest gas station or Uber/Taxi with your Discover card in hand.
