DirecTV’s Thanksgiving 2020 Free Preview Feast Starts November 25 and Runs Through November 29

DirecTV is offering a Thanksgiving 2020 Free Preview Feast of HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz and Epix.

The premium channel lineup will be available Wednesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 29, 2020.

All you need to do to take advantage of this Thanksgiving Free Preview extravaganza is tune to channels 501-560 (may be different for some subscribers) and enjoy.

DVR for Later Viewing

There have been questions as to whether DirecTV is still allowing recorded shows to be viewed after free previews have ended.

During the previous DirecTV free preview, we confirmed that recording free preview programming does still work, as does viewing recordings after the free preview has ended. Hopefully, it stays this way going forward.

So, if you have a DVR, you can record as many free preview programs as you like to watch at a later date.  Once recorded, you have them saved until you delete them.

2020 has been a challenging year to say the least.

And while it’s a small gesture in the big picture, it is nice that DirecTV is offering all the major premium channels free for an extended period this Thanksgiving weekend.

Don’t forget to take advantage of all that free programming and DVR shows and movies you want to see, but are too busy eating, watching football or getting outside for some fresh air before the winter chill really sets in to sit and watch.
