DirecTV Offering an HBO and Cinemax Free Preview September 6 – 10, 2022

DirecTV is offering a free preview of HBO and Cinemax in the coming days.

In a different twist, the HBO and Cinemax free preview begins Tuesday, September 6 and runs through Saturday, September 10, 2022. Typically, free previews begin Thursdays and run through Sunday or Monday.

But, as with previous free previews, all you need to do to take advantage is tune to channels 501-523 (may be different for some subscribers) and enjoy.

If you’re a DirecTV Stream customer, your free preview channels should be 501-522.

And U-verse customers can check channels 1802-1846.

DVR for Later Viewing

For a while, it was questioned whether you could still DVR free preview programming and watch it after the free preview ended.

As far as we know, DVRing free preview programming to watch at later dates is still an option.

So check the upcoming HBO and Cinemax schedule September 6-10 and add programming you want to watch to your DVR recording list.
