Chase Southwest Airlines Personal Credit Cards Out With a Unique Sign-Up Bonus – Earn 60,000 Points and a 30% Off Promo Code Now Through June 26th
|Chase and Southwest are back again with a sign-up bonus on all Southwest Rapid Rewards personal credit cards.
This latest offer allows you to earn 60,000 Rapid Rewards points and get a 30% off promo code for when you’re booking fares rather than award flights after you spend $3,000 within the first 3 months from card approval.
Here are the Offer Details associated with the 30% off part of the sign-up bonus…”To be eligible for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. 30 percent promotion code savings valid for one-way or round trip Wanna Get Away®, Wanna Get Away Plus™, Anytime, and Business Select®fares booked on Southwest.com® by 10/31/2024, (the “Booking Period”). Promotion code expires on 10/31/2024.”
It seems to me Southwest is trying to boost its customer goodwill by offering a variety of credit card bonuses following a disastrous end to 2022. I don’t remember so many various sign-up bonuses in the past.
But, the downside to all these different deals is that if you’ve taken advantage of a Southwest sign-up deal in the previous 24 months, then these deals are not an option for you until month 25 hits.

If you are able to apply for a business card, and are not over Chase’s 5/24 rule (approved for 5 or more credit cards from any issuer within the last 24 months) then you may be able to easily earn the extremely valuable Southwest Airlines companion pass (need 135,000 Rapid Rewards points) with personal and business card applications thanks to these increased bonuses.
These Southwest personal card sign-up bonuses are decent, especially if you’ll be buying Southwest airfare in the coming year.
And if you can swing the Companion Pass, you can really benefit from some reduced airfare costs.
Just remember, these personal card offers end June 26, 2023.
