Chase Offers Now Including “Flash Deal” Offers
|A few years ago Chase began offering Chase Offers on its credit cards, a move to compete with American Express’ Amex Offers.
Over this period, Chase Offers have evolved to be a decent competitor to the long-standing Amex Offers, providing Chase cardholders a number of savings opportunities.
Now, it appears, Chase is upping the Offers ante with Flash Deal Offers.
Chase Flash Deal Offers
There hasn’t been any announcement that I’m aware of regarding the new Flash Deals. That likely will be coming in the next day or so.
But, if you log in to your Chase credit card account(s) you’ll likely see Flash Deals for Walgreens, McDonald’s, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Exxon Mobil.
I checked multiple Chase credit card accounts’ Offers, and at least one of the above – if not all four – Flash Deals were available on all accounts.
A 20% cash back statement credit is a pretty good deal as long as you have purchases to make at the Flash Deal retailers.
Each Flash Deal Offer has its own savings details, so be sure to read the specifics associated with the Offer when adding a Flash Deal to your card.
For the currently available Flash Deal Offers, the savings aren’t too bad if your purchases will max it out. A quick looks shows…
- Walgreens – $8 back maximum
- McDonald’s – $4 back maximum
- Bed, Bath & Beyond – $14 back maximum
- Exxon Mobil – $10 back maximum
If I’ve had one gripe with Chase Offers, it’s that the maximum savings amount for any given Offer has been somewhat stingy.
These Flash Deal Offers don’t follow that trend, providing a nice statement credit if maxed out.
While the Offers noted above show 4 days left to use them, your Offers will definitely have different end periods.
A quick look at a few of my accounts shows one account having the Flash Deal Offers ending in 2 days, another having them end in 6 days, and, obviously, the ones above ending in 4 days.
So, be sure to check when your Flash Deal Offers are set to end.
Since these are brand new, we’ll have to see if the end dates reset like some Chase Offers do, or if they in fact end on that day. And then whether they’ll be replaced right away with new Flash Deal Offers, or if these are deals we’ll have to watch for periodically.
Wrap Up
Chase is giving credit card holders one more reason to keep its cards top-of-wallet with the introduction of Flash Deal Offers.
These recently introduced savings deals are for limited time periods as compared to regular Chase Offers, but, at least with these intro Offers, provide a much bigger percentage and dollar savings opportunity.
Anything that allows for an easy savings is a good thing in my book.
Thanks, Chase, for helping your cardholders keep a little more money in their pockets with these new Flash Deal Offers.
