Chase Offering Spend Bonuses on Many of Its Credit Cards October 1 – December 31, 2022

As we approach the fourth quarter of 2022, Chase is once again offering increased earnings on some of its credit cards beginning October 1 through the end of December 2022.
As with previous quarterly bonus spend promotions from Chase, whether you have any offers, and what those offers may be, are very hit or miss.
You can check the link below to see if your Chase card has been targeted for this increased earnings promo, as well as activate the promo on your card. You’ll need the last four digits of the card you want to check (as well as the last name on the card and zip code).

If you’re seeing a promo for spend that ends September 30, 2022, wait until October 1 and check again.
Also, in past promos, offers have been added to some cards well into the promo period. So, if you don’t have an offer on a specific card, keep checking periodically throughout October, and maybe into November.
The most frequent bonus seems to be 10x on gas station purchases and 5x on Amazon and grocery store spend.
Pretty good earning options for upcoming holiday travel and shopping.
There may be some other options as well, such as statement credits for spend on specific categories (transit/commuting or gas station app purchases).
Most bonuses seem to be on co-branded cards such as Hyatt, Marriott, Amazon, United, Southwest, etc.
You should check your Chase cards – Freedoms, Sapphires, etc. – too, just in case.
And the bonuses are good on up to $1,500 in purchases during the promotional period.
Chase says that it may take up to 8 weeks from qualifying purchases for the bonus points/miles to post to your account. Typically with these promotions, they post much sooner. But, keep this qualifier in mind if you’re counting on these bonus points for an early 2023 trip.

Chase is offering select credit card holders increased earning opportunities beginning October 1, 2022, and running through December 31, 2022.
If you’re targeted, this is a great way to increase your points or miles balances for spend you likely would make anyway.
