This buy one footlong and get a footlong free deal is for orders via the Subway app or Subway website only.
Simply add two footlongs to your online/app order and the discount will automatically apply for participating Subway shops.

Postmates/Feed Hero Nurses Donation
If you order through Postmates, Subway will donate to Feed Hero Nurses the monetary equivalent of a 6″ sub ($4.89) for every $15 or more purchase made.
Subway will donate up to $85,000 to Random Acts, Inc. for the Feed Hero Nurses program which will be used to purchase Subway food for participating hospitals.
