Google is offering a deal that provides a Google Chromecast with Google TV streaming media player and 3 months of the HBO Max ad-free streaming service for $64.99.
The HBO Max subscription part of this promotion is available to new HBO Max subscribers only. However, using a different email address from previous subscriptions to HBO Max may work to grab this, or any, HBO Max deal.
Looking at this deal from the big picture, basically, you’re getting a streaming media player that can connect to a television that doesn’t already have a streaming interface…or at least one you like…and 3 months of HBO max (ad-free version) for $64.99.
The HBO Max subscription alone would cost $44.97 (plus tax).
Considering the HBO Max cost, the Google Chromecast would effectively price at $20.02. This Chromecast regularly prices at $49.99 at the Google Store.
So, a nice savings when you factor in the bundle price.
