Apple iPhone SE (2nd Gen) Smartphone for $99.99 or Apple iPhone SE (3rd Gen) for $149.99 Via Verizon’s MVNO Total by Verizon
|If you’re looking for a decent – not high-end – smartphone for an economical price, these iPhone SE deals might fit the bill.
First, you’ll need to purchase via, and activate on, Verizon’s mobile virtual network operator, Total by Verizon.
But, if you don’t want to stay with Total by Verizon, you’ll be able to pay for one month of service ($30 plus tax), cancel your service, wait another 30 days for the 60-day unlock period to hit and then move the phone to any wireless service provider you want.

Wrap Up
I can’t personally vouch for Total by Verizon, but purchasing the phone from it shouldn’t be an issue.
As far as service reliability, it’s likely similar to any MVNO, or cell provider for that matter, service quality and reliability will depend on location.
Once you’ve paid for the phone and one month of service, you take the phone to any other provider you want if you’re not happy with Total by Verizon. Just keep the 60-day requirement for unlocking (typically automatic) Verizon iPhones in mind.
