Airfare Deal: Boston – Paris $351 Roundtrip

It’s been a while since we’ve published an airfare deal, so when we saw this deal from Boston to Paris for only $351 roundtrip, we thought we’d write it up for old times sake.

Actually, this post is more about highlighting The Flight Deal site, more than the BOS-ORY airfare.

If you’re interested in great airfare deals to destinations throughout the globe, you really should be following The Flight Deal.

Just be aware, the vast majority of deals The Flight Deal publishes are for specific dates, so to take advantage you’ll have to have a somewhat flexible schedule.

And when a deal is published, you have to be ready to book since they usually disappear quickly…sometimes within a few hours, and other times within a few days to a week.

The site isn’t there to find you the best airfare deal for your upcoming week of vacation, rather, it’s to publicize airfares that will allow you to visit locations you may have never thought possible due to price.

So, if you like getting deals, and traveling the world, be sure to keep The Flight Deal in mind.

Okay, with that out of the way, here’s the Boston to Paris airfare deal that prompted this post.

Boston to Paris $351 Roundtrip

The Flight Deal uses ITA to search for its airfares. I usually use Google Flights.

My search on Google Flights yielded different but close results to what The Flight Deal published. Might be due to the fact my search was a few hours later than theirs.

You can view The Flight Deal’s page for the Boston to Paris airfare deal at this link.

It’s showing an airfare of $325 on American Airlines / Iberia.

My search is showing $351 on TAP Air Portugal.

My search shows a few dates in May, but the vast majority of the low fare deals begin the last week in September 2020 and run through mid December 2020.

Keep in mind, many of these really low airfare deals are Basic Economy fares which do not allow a seat assignment prior to the day of flight, any changes to the ticket once purchased and do not include a checked bag. Some will allow a carry-on, but not all.

Most Basic Economy airfares will allow for a “buy up” to the next airfare class which will allow you to select a seat, change your ticket if needed (for a fee, of course) and usually include one checked bag.

Prices will vary for this “buy up,” so check during purchase.

And, most fares allow 24 hours from purchase to cancel the trip altogether.

Which allows you to grab the deal as soon as you see it and then decide if you can make the travel work with your schedule.

And also keep in mind, that just because an airfare deal departs from an airport no where near where you live, doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage.

Positioning flights…inexpensive flights from your home airport to the deal’s departure airport…are just one way to jump on a trip that’s of interest to you.

Using airline miles is another way to inexpensively get yourself to the deal’s departure point.

So, there’s really no excuse, if you see an airfare deal to a destination you really want to visit, to not make the trip.
