Both of those subscriptions are streaming only, neither will be attached to a car radio. Although, you can always stream from your phone to your car radio to listen.

The Echo Dot is sold by Amazon, which is where you’ll need to redeem the coupon code you’ll receive as part of this promotion. The code will provide the Echo Dot free of charge.

The current price for an Echo Dot (5th Generation) on Amazon is $49.99. Get your free Echo Dot and sell it for $30-$40 and you could cover about half of your 12-month SiriusXM subscription.

SiriusXM and the Credit Card

As with most SiriusXM subscription deals, a credit card is required as a payment method.

This is SiriusXM’s way of ensuring you’ll pay, and continue to pay at the higher rate once the deal ends.

Your Music & Entertainment subscription will renew every month thereafter and you will be charged according to your chosen payment method at then-current rates (currently $7.99/mo).

If you don’t want to continue the subscription, this just means you must call to cancel.

Cancel

You can cancel at any time. However, anyone who has dealt with SiriusXM knows this can be a time-consuming affair.

Just be aware you’ll likely have to say “no, thanks, please cancel my subscription,” a number of times before it’ll be done.

If you enjoy the service, you’ll likely get a decent offer to continue your subscription during this call to cancel after your first couple “no thanks.”

Persistence is the key with SiriusXM’s calls to either cancel or get a better deal.

And there are always better deals. Don’t ever pay full price!

While not as good as past subscription/Echo Dot promotions, it’s not too bad if SiriusXM is your thing.
