SiriusXM’s Free Listening Event is Ending – Now Come the Subscription Deals
SiriusXM satellite radio’s free listening event ends today, November 26, 2018.
And as an enticement to get those who enjoyed what they heard during the free period to become paid subscribers, SiriusXM is offering a pretty good subscription deal for STREAMING subscribers only.
Which means, if you have an inactive radio in your car or home, this subscription deal IS NOT for you.
Only those wanting to listen to SiriusXM over a smartphone, tablet, or online, can grab this deal.
That said, you can still listen to SiriusXM in your car via your smartphone, streaming through your car’s audio system, you’ll just use data to do so.
Or, some programming can be downloaded to your smart device and listened to without the use of data in your car, or anywhere else, for that matter.
The SiriusXM Streaming Subscription Deal
The streaming subscription deal offers 12 months of SiriusXM for only $4.99 per month. Taxes and fees will add a dollar or two more to that per month price.
You can listen online or via the SiriusXM app.

While it’s a 12-month deal, there is no commitment to that period of time. If after 5 months you decide you don’t want the service any longer, you can call and cancel. The 12-months only locks in the $4.99 per month deal price.
Once the 12-months end, you’ll be charged the regular price of $15.99 + taxes and fees per month.
At which point I strongly encourage you to call in to either cancel or haggle for a better deal.
SiriusXM is known to give much better pricing to keep subscribers – it just takes a bit of “no, I don’t want to keep the service at that price” to finally get to a lower amount.
You can call 1-866-635-2349 to cancel or begin the process of lowering your SiriusXM subscription charges.
This deal is for new SiriusXM Streaming subscribers only, so likely you won’t be able to get the lower price if you’re currently a subscriber.
However, if you’re paying the regular $15,99 per month price, I’d definitely call in to try and get this deal pricing.
