Hyatt’s FIND Experiences, a New Way to Earn and Use World of Hyatt Points
|FIND is Hyatt’s recently introduced online platform that offers a number of unique experiences on which World of Hyatt members can both earn and use World of Hyatt points.
Many airline and hotel loyalty programs offer similar experiential services for which points or miles can be redeemed, but Hyatt’s seems to have a unique focus.
Hyatt, likely due in part to last year’s acquisition of Miraval Resorts – a wellness resort and spa company – is expanding its focus toward wellness by introducing FIND experiences.
FIND Experiences
FIND experiences run the gamut from yoga in the Redwood Forest to an exclusive, hands-on aerial photography session in Long Beach, California to a taste of Buddhism bicycle tour in Cambodia.
Experiences can be purchased, earning World of Hyatt members 10 points per eligible dollar spent.
Or, members can redeem Hyatt points for any of the FIND experiences that are of interest.
Here are a few examples:
Spa Treatments and Wine Tasting
$448 per person
31,964 Hyatt points per person
Tandem Paragliding Flight
$200 per person
14,286 Hyatt points per person
Private Fencing Class with Friends
$25 per person
1,786 Hyatt points per person
San Francisco Sailing Adventure
$180 per person
12,857 Hyatt points per person
FIND experiences can be found in a number of major cities throughout the U.S. and in select Asia Pacific destinations.
You can learn more about FIND, the experiences that are offered, and actually buy/book an experience at the link below.
Traveling to FIND
FIND‘s limited locations make taking part in these experiences an ideal opportunity to book your next trip.
And why pay for your airfare and hotel to get to your Find experience when Miles and Points can make your overall expenditure almost nothing.
Which is the primary goal of the Miles and Points hobby, helping to bring experiential life goals to fruition with little to no cost.
Building Your Hyatt Points
Obviously, you can build your Hyatt points balance by simply purchasing FIND experiences. At 10 Hyatt points per dollar spent, that’s a nice earn rate. That said, earning Hyatt points in that fashion is not exactly practical as a long-term points earning prospect.
A better alternative? Credit cards, of course.
And the best to start with is the World of Hyatt Credit Card.

- Earn 60,000 Hyatt points after spending $6,000 in the first 6 months from account opening (40,000 after $3,000 in the first 3 months and 20,000 after another $3,000 in the first 6 months).
- Ongoing earning: 4 Hyatt points per dollar spent on Hyatt stays, 2 points per dollar on restaurants, local transit, flights purchased directly from an airline, and on fitness club/gym memberships and 1 point everywhere else.
- Free night on cardmember anniversary (category 1-4)
- Annual Fee: $95
And, of course, you can indirectly earn Hyatt points by using any Chase Ultimate Rewards earning credit card and transferring those points directly to your Hyatt account at a 1:1 rate.
Read “Why I love Chase Ultimate Rewards Points and You Should Too” for more information on the Chase Ultimate Rewards program and the best credit cards to amass Ultimate Rewards points, and, in turn, Hyatt points.
Wrap Up
As you can see, Hyatt’s FIND experiences offer a wide variety of unique opportunities to broaden your horizons and try something you may never have considered.
And what’s better, you can either earn Hyatt points when taking advantage of these FIND experiences or use Hyatt points and keep the cash in your pocket.
The choice is yours.
And if that choice is keeping your costs down while still taking part in these experiences, it’s not too difficult to build the points necessary via the credit card strategies we provide.
