Free Paul Newman Movies on YouTube

Sometimes I like to pick an actor and look up his or her old movies on YouTube. Lots of clips and movie previews there, but there are full-length movies available too. My favorite spaghetti sauce maker and actors is Paul Newman. I really loved him in The Verdict and everyone knows him from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid.

Recently I went on a mission to discover some lesser known titles and have recently watched a few. I will try to provide a list of movies I have come across lately that are currently (as of this writing) available for free on YouTube.

I feel the need to include that sometimes the video and even the audio is not up to par, but I still feel you will get the chance to see some hidden gems from the past without too much difficulty.

From the Terrace (1960)

This drama also starring Newman’s wife Joanne Woodward. Pretty average movie, but Newman playing his curt self.

Paris Blues (1961)

Another film also starring wife Joanne Woodward. Also staring Sydney Poitier. Kind of a slow-paced movie, but fans of the Blues may enjoy it.

Torn Curtain (1966)

Labeled as a political thriller and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Another thriller, but is Newman the good guy in this one?

WUSA (1970)

A right-wing radio station values Newman’s character’s ability to rally the troops. Kind of a strange movie, good acting by Newman, but not a good movie.

Quintet (1979)

A very strange movie about a new ice age directed by Robert Altman. The movie poster is the most interesting element of this movie. I would not recommend
