Visa Checkout’s Offering Free Starbucks Coffee
|If you’re a follower of our Facebook page and Twitter feed, you’re aware of the significant savings Visa Checkout has been offering in conjunction with a variety of retailers.
Deals like:
- Save $25 on a $100 or more purchase at Staples.com
- Save $20 on a $100 or more purchase at NewEgg.com
- Save 20% at 1800flowers.com when you use promo code VC20
- Buy 2 or more movie tickets at Fandango and get one free December 22-26
Obviously, to get any of these deals, you have to use Visa Checkout to pay.
If you don’t have a Visa Checkout account set up, you can do so here.
And, an interesting twist, you can add any credit card to your Visa Checkout account, it doesn’t have to be a Visa.
Which means, you can add an American Express card as your payment option when Visa Checkout is used, and take advantage of Amex Offers to “double dip” savings.
As an example, both Staples and NewEgg had Amex Offers ($20 back on $100 purchase at Staples.com and $25 back on $200 NewEgg purchase) that could be combined with the Visa Checkout savings if your Amex Offer loaded American Express card was used to make the purchase.
So, you could save $45 on a $100 or more purchase at Staples.com and $45 on a $200 purchase at NewEgg.com.
This is just an overview of how lucrative Visa Checkout can be as a money saving vehicle.
But, what you really want to know is how to get your FREE Starbuck coffee, right?
Starbucks Deal
First, you need to have a Visa Checkout account set up. If you don’t have one, use the link above to get that done.
Then you need to use the Starbucks app on your smartphone to reload $10 or more to your Starbucks card/account. Payment MUST be through your Visa Checkout account. Which can be found as a payment option in the “Pay” section of the Starbucks app.
Visa Checkout will send you a $10 Starbucks egift card via email to the email address on your account which can be used on its own or added to your Starbucks account.
I’m not a huge Starbucks fan, but I do enjoy coffee, and I love a deal, so I did my $10 reload and received my free $10 Starbucks egift card the next day.
Details on how to make the transaction – if you need it – can be found at this link.
While the Starbucks promo period runs through December 22, the supplies are limited, so you might want to jump on this deal sooner rather than later.
And, this deal is limited to one bonus load during this promo period.
Although, Visa Checkout and Starbucks do seem to run this deal multiple times throughout the year. This is my second free $10 thanks to Visa Checkout/Starbucks this year.
How about you? How many Visa Checkout savings deals have you taken advantage of?
