Important Terms

And, as always, keep the following points in mind when using airline shopping portals, especially for bonus miles promotions.

All promotions are based on cumulative spend at the airline shopping portal during the bonus miles period. You don’t have to spend a full amount in one shopping trip to earn the bonus miles associated with a spend level. Multiple purchases over multiple days will count toward a spend threshold and associated bonus.

And, it’s important to keep in mind, taxes, fees and shipping charges do not count toward a spend requirement level. Make sure only product purchase amounts are what you consider when factoring how much you’ve spent toward a threshold amount.
