Sam’s Club Citi Merchant Offer
Check your Citi credit card account(s) for Citi Merchant Offers that might save on your upcoming Sam’s Club purchases.
As with any credit card Offer, this may, or may not be on your Citi credit card accounts.
Up until a month or so ago, not all Citi credit card accounts had Citi Merchant Offers available.
That, for the most part, has changed, and pretty much anyone with a Citi credit card now has access to these Offers.
So, if you’ve tried finding Citi Merchant Offers in the past with no luck, you should try again.
Depending on the specific Offer, you may be able to save a nice bit of change.
Now on to the Sam’s Club Offer.
Sam’s Club Citi Merchant Offer
The Sam’s Club Citi Merchant Offer provides 5% back as a statement credit when the card is used for an in-store or online purchase.
The Offer expires June 30, 2022.
And, it does come with a few restrictions –
“Valid for US only. Terms cannot include exclusion of health and beauty aides, wine, cold cough and flu, liquor, gas stations, cigarettes, cigars, beer, doctor fees, orders made on Walmart.com, gift card purchases. You may not purchase products or services sold or promoted on SamsClub.com through a Qualifying Link for resale or commercial use of any kind. Cash back is not included on orders placed using coupons, promo codes, or discounts, or if an order is cancelled, returned, or exchanged.”
While somewhat awkwardly worded, I think the list of items is exclusionary. And, not sure how it would be enforced, but note the “coupons, promo codes, or discounts” language.
Offers
Just in case you’re not familiar with how credit card Offers work, be sure the Offer is added/saved to your credit card prior to making a purchase that would trigger the Offer.
And, watch expiration dates…sometimes if a transaction doesn’t post to your account prior to the expiration date (even though your purchase was prior to the expiration date) the Offer may not be triggered. That’s not always the case, but it’s something to keep in mind.
