The 2021 U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways Travel Deals Week 2

The 2021 U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways promotion is about to begin its second week of deals, and hotels – both points and stays – make up this week’s offerings.

The Daily Getaways for this week begin Monday, October 11, 2021, and continue through Friday, October 15, 2021.

Daily Getaways Deal Details

Here are the deals for week two.  Details can be found on the Daily Getaways website by clicking individual offers.

Daily Getaways Week 2 Deals

Monday

Tuesday

Four Choice Privileges points packages (14,000, 28,000, 42,000 and 55,000) are available with pricing from $84 to $285.

Wednesday

A Wyndham Rewards points package – 15,000 points – for $175.

Thursday

Four different Omni Hotels and Resorts stay packages are up for sale. Three are for 2-night stays and one is for a 1-night stay. Each package has a list of valid hotels at which the purchased stay can be used. So check the details before purchasing. Pricing runs from $175 for one of the 2-night stay packages to $335 for a 2-night stay with many of the hotels located in major metropolitan areas.

Friday

Four Accor properties stays are available, the specifics of which are:

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, Puerto Rico – 4 Ovation Rewards certificates (4 nights) in a 1-bedroom suite including breakfast for 2 – $1,400

Sofitel New York – 4 Ovation Rewards certificates (4 nights) in a 1-bedroom suite including breakfast for 2 – $1,000

Fairmont Washington, D.C. – 4 Ovation Rewards certificates (4 nights) in a 1-bedroom suite including breakfast for 2 – $1,000

Fairmont Century Plaza, Los Angeles – 4 Ovation Rewards certificates (4 nights) breakfast and evening canapes included – $1,700

Value can likely be had with any of these deals as long as they’re of personal interest to you.

As I always like to say, though, speculative purchases of hotel points are not always the best idea. If you need a specific amount of points to meet a hotel award stay you’re planning, that’s the best use of promotions like these.

So head to the Daily Getaways site, check pricing on individual deals and plan out your purchase strategy.

Daily Getaways Ins and Outs

All Daily Getaways deals go on sale at 1:00 pm ET the day they are listed.

Deal quantities are listed on an individual deal’s page on the Daily Getaways calendar. For popular deals, they will go quickly, so be ready to click the “Buy Now” button right at 1:00 pm.

Actually, if there is any deal in which you’re interested, just to be safe I’d be ready to buy right at 1:00 pm when the deal opens.

As with anything in life, the details matter, so for deals you’re interested in, be sure to look at the fine print…it’s listed on each individual deal at the Daily Getaways site.

That said, scope out the deals that interest you for this week, set your cell phone alarm for 12:50 pm the day of the deal and get ready to buy!

I’ll see you next weekend with my rundown of the final week’s deals.

Until then, here’s hoping you get the travel deal(s) of your choice!
