American Express’ Hilton Honors Cards Offering Monthly Money Back on U.S. Dining Purchases Through 2021
|American Express is offering dining credits on all of its Hilton Honors credit cards through the end of 2021.
American Express offers three Hilton Honors credit cards – Hilton Honors, Hilton Honors Surpass and the Hilton Honors Aspire – with each now offering a specific monthly credit on dining purchases for the remainder of 2021.
- Hilton Honors (no annual fee) – $5 monthly statement credit
- Hilton Honors Surpass ($95 annual fee) – $10 monthly statement credit
- Hilton Honors Aspire ($450 annual fee) – $20 monthly statement credit
These dining credits should be part of your Amex Offers list, and need to be added to your Hilton card to become active.
Once added, you’ll earn a monthly statement credit, specific to the Hilton card you hold, each month you spend at least the amount equal to your card’s credit on eligible U.S. restaurant purchases including dine-in, takeout and delivery.
This dining credit Offer is good, monthly, through December 31, 2021.
This is one more example of credit card issuers incentivizing the use of travel credit cards during the coronavirus pandemic.
While it’s not completely altruistic on their part – they do want those cards to continue to be used – it’s a win for consumers in that it’s a money saver that otherwise would not be available.
And while they’re not huge amounts of saving, something is much better than nothing.
So be sure to add the dining credit Offer to your Hilton card and use it at least once on a dining purchase monthly to grab the free money.
