Citi Merchant Offer: Get 15% Back on Your fubo TV Subscription up to 4 Months
|If you’re considering giving fubo TV a try, and have a Citi credit card, check your Citi Merchant Offers for a 15% back Offer.
Unfortunately, it appears this Offer is only available to first-time fubo TV subscribers, so if you already subscribe, you won’t be able to save on your monthly charge with this deal.
And, the Offer’s not eligible to be used with fubo TV’s free trial, so you can’t take advantage of the free 7-days before being charged.
What is nice about this Offer, though, is that it can be used up to 4 months, to the Offer’s end date.
Other fine print includes the Offer being valid for US subscriptions purchased online at fubo.tv, and excludes any third-party billing used to register.
The Offer’s end date is March 31, 2021.
Fubo TV
Fubo TV is one of the many online streaming TV platforms on which cord-cutters – or anyone who doesn’t want or have a traditional cable/satellite subscription – can access live TV.
You can view fubo TV info and its offerings at this link.
A quick overview of fubo TV:
Three Plans from which to choose –
- Family – 113 channels, cloud DVR, 3 screens at once, *$64.99 per month plus tax
- Elite – 159 channels, fubo Extra, Showtime, Sports Plus, cloud DVR 5 screens at once, *$79.99 per month plus tax
- Latino Quarterly – 32 channels, cloud DVR, 3 screens at once, *$24.99 per month plus tax
*Prices above may be discounted. Check fine print if signing up for one of these plans.
Live local channels available depending on location.
fubo TV can be watched on your computer, iPhone, iPad, Android phone and tablet, Roku, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, Xbox, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV.
There’s a 7-day free trial period, after which you’ll be charged the monthly amount associated with the plan you’ve chosen.
For the Citi Merchant Offer above, supposedly you can’t get the free trial with the 15% off deal…not sure why. Might be worth trying.
Streaming TV
Unfortunately, most live TV streaming platforms have increased their pricing to levels at which they are no longer a no-brainer bargain.
But, they do offer value in that there are no commitments, allowing you to switch between platforms monthly if you want a new look/channel selection. And pricing is less than most traditional cable/satellite subscriptions…without negotiated pricing, that is.
If you’re not aware of all the streaming TV options currently available, check out our “A Listing of Streaming TV Platforms” post for details and pricing.
Wrap Up
This fubo TV Citi Merchant Offer can save you 15% per month on your new fubo TV subscription for up to 4 months until March 31, 2021.
This is our first Citi Merchants Offer post, since Citi only recently started offering savings deals associated with its credit cards.
While any savings is good, this deal is not quite as good as others…specifically Amex Offers…that we’ve seen for fubo TV in the past.
But, I’m not aware of any other credit cards savings deals for fubo TV right now, so it’s this Citi Merchant Offer or nothing.
If you want to give fubo TV a try, might as well use your Citi credit card and this Offer to save a little in the process.
Are you a fubo TV subscriber? What do you think of the service?
