Amazon / Discover Credit Card Deal – Save $10 Off $60, $80 or $100

Amazon and Discover credit cards are out with a $10 savings deal on select Amazon purchases when at least 1 Discover Cashback Bonus point is used to pay.

The minimum spend requirement seems to vary…some are targeted with $10 off $60, others $10 off $80, while $10 off $100 is seen by a few.

You’ll need to have one of the following Discover credit cards to take advantage of this deal.

Discover Cashback Bonus Points/Miles Earning Cards

And have it added to your Amazon Wallet as a payment method for your Amazon purchases.

Finally, you’ll need to have your Discover card enrolled in Amazon’s Shop with Points program.

If you’re targeted, follow these steps to make your purchase(s) and get the $10 off deal.

• Click the “Click to activate” button on the promotion activation page.
• Add eligible items to your Amazon shopping cart.  Items must be sold and shipped by Amazon to qualify.
• Checkout with your Discover Cashback Bonus Points/Miles card and use at least one Discover point to pay a portion of your order. To maximize points value, use the smallest amount possible…$0.01 as an example…to trigger the savings.
• The $10 discount will be reflected on the final order page.

This is a limited time deal – looks like it’s good through 9/30/2020 – so act fast if it’s available to you.

Unfortunately, as has been the case with previous deals like these, availability for any one card holder is very hit or miss. 

If you aren’t targeted, you’ll see the following message: “Thank you for your interest in this offer. Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this invitation-only offer.”

As with any of these credit card deals, Amazon seems to add additional accounts periodically, so check back if the deal’s not on your account initially.

If you still don’t see availability, try the trick below.

Sometimes removing a credit card from your Amazon Wallet, adding it back, re-enrolling it in Shop with Points and checking availability the next day will result in the deal becoming available.  Sometimes not.  But it’s worth a try if this deal is of interest.
