This isn’t an overly exciting product on which to find a deal, but as with any Apple product, a sale price is a rare commodity.
I saw a story recently on third-party charging cords, and how they’re much more susceptible to breakage, fraying and possibly fires due to somewhat less stringent manufacturing techniques than the name brand charging cords.
So, it might be worth the $10 – $20 more to get a name brand cord rather than paying less and gambling the non-name brand version will work without issues.
