Amazon Prime Day is This Coming Monday and Tuesday, July 15-16 – Here are a Few Deals to Whet Your Whistle

For some, Amazon Prime Day is a great opportunity to grab a deal or two…or more.

For others, its…yawn.

And, for even more, considering all the promotion, and now hype-matching by competitors such as Target and Walmart, it’s enough already!

For those who look forward to Amazon Prime Day, and the potential deals that can be found, here’s a quick overview and some deal previews to get you in the mood.

Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day (actually it’s multiple days this year) will begin Monday, July 15, 2019, at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET and run 48 hours straight.

That gives you plenty of time to find just the right deal for you.

New deals will launch every 5 minutes during the Prime Day (48 hours) period, so check back often to see what’s new.

If you have an Amazon Alexa or Echo device, your shopping extravaganza can start even earlier. Beginning Saturday, July 13, device owners get early access to select deals by simply asking, “Alexa, what are my deals?”

Prime Membership and Prime Day

To take advantage of these Prime Day deals, you do have to be a Prime member. That doesn’t mean, however, you have to pay the annual Prime membership fee if you’re not already a member. Simply log on to your Amazon account and start your free 30-day trial. The free trial of Prime will give you all the access regular Prime members get during Prime Day 2019.

Just be sure to cancel your free trial membership before the 30 days end to avoid being charged.

Or if you like Prime, continue the membership for $119 per year or $12.99 per month. Lower priced options are available for students and those with a valid EBT/Medicaid card.
