U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways Travel Deals Week 3

Week 3 of the 2019 U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways promotion begins Monday, May 20, 2019.

Let’s take a look at the travel deals that are available this upcoming week.

Daily Getaways Week Two Deals

Week 3 offers a variety of travel deals from hotel loyalty points, Vegas packages along with other hotel stay deals.

Daily Getaways Details

Monday

Two Las Vegas hotel packages are available – One for three nights at the Venetian and the other for three nights at the Palazzo. Both put you in a suite, which is a nice way to spend a Las Vegas stay. Of course, as with any Daily Getaways hotel package deal, check pricing if you were to book the suite stay yourself during a period you would most likely visit. If the Daily Getaways pricing beats what you’d pay booking directly, go for it. Be sure to check the Terms and Conditions before purchasing.

Tuesday

You can purchase 10,000 Best Western Rewards points for $55 with a limit of five sets per loyalty number. If you find value in the Best Western loyalty program, and this will get you close to your next award redemption, then here you go.

Wednesday

Four Omni Hotels & Resorts stays are up for grabs on Wednesday. There are three 2-night stays and one 1-night stay that can be purchased. Each package is good at select Omni hotels listed within each package. Read each carefully to ensure you’re purchasing a package that includes a hotel at which you want to stay.

Thursday

Las Vegas packages are, again, up for grabs.

• 3-nights at Circus Circus with buffets, dining voucher and theme park pass for $200
• 3-nights at Park MGM with show, dining and airport transfers for $1,750
• 4-nights at Excalibur with tickets to Tournament of Kings and $400 food and beverage credit for $500
• 3-nights at Aria with dinner for 2, spa treatments for 2 and airport transfers for $1,700
• 3-nights at Bellagio with 2 tickets to “O” one dinner for 2, two spa treatments and airport transfers for $2,000

Friday

A $1,000 Orbitz hotel promo code for $650. Definitely read the Terms and Conditions on this deal to ensure you can get value.

Quick Thoughts

Las Vegas packages are plentiful this week. As I’ve mentioned with any hotel package on the Daily Getaways, check hotel pricing during a time period you’d like to travel and see if the packages are a deal. Most times they are, especially if dining/shows are included, but not always.

Personally, I’d pass on the Best Western points, but that’s just me. Some travelers can find value purchasing these points, especially if a batch or two will add to what they’ve already accumulated, allowing for a redemption they’ve been targeting.

The Omni hotel packages fall into the “search for pricing to see if it’s a deal” category.

The Orbitz hotel promo code is pretty much a cash discount deal – with restrictions. Book a hotel via Orbitz for as close to $1,000 as you can and use the promo code you bought for $650 to cover the stay. Basically saving $350. Be sure to read all the fine print associated with this Orbitz deal before purchasing, though.

That said, head to the Daily Getaways site, check pricing on individual deals and plan out your week 3 purchase strategy.

All Daily Getaways deals go on sale at 1:00 pm ET the day they are listed.

Deal quantities are listed on an individual deal’s page on the Daily Getaways calendar. For popular deals, they will go quickly, so be ready to click the “Buy Now” button right at 1:00 pm.

Actually, if there is any deal in which you’re interested, just to be safe I’d be ready to buy right at 1:00 pm when the deal opens.

As with anything in life, the details matter, so for deals you’re interested in, be sure to look at the fine print…it’s listed on each individual deal at the Daily Getaways site.

That said, scope out the deals that interest you for this week, set your cell phone alarm for 12:50 pm the day of the deal and get ready to buy!
