Keep in mind, “new accounts” doesn’t necessarily mean new to Calm.

Current users of Calm may be able to take advantage of this deal, but you’d be forfeiting the remainder of your current subscription…the 50% annual deal does not extend a current subscription.

You also may be able to get the 50% off deal by creating a new account (maybe a different payment method, too) to sign up. Yes, you’d need to change your login information for the Calm app, but you’re also saving 50% off the regular annual price.

And, once you’ve created your account, go to the app settings, Manage Subscription section and cancel. You’ll still have access for the next year, but you won’t have to worry about the automatic renewal of the service.
