Doing so will take you to the retailer’s website (the same website you’d go to on your own) where you can shop and purchase like you normally would.

Since you clicked through the airline’s shopping portal first, all transactions will be registered, and the appropriate miles, once validated, will be deposited into your frequent flyer mileage account.
